About this file
Page one is the year at a glance: all twelve months as small calendars, with every US federal holiday on a butter-yellow dot, and beside a big 2027 the full list of holidays with their dates and weekdays. Then one page for each month, January to December: the month in a large serif, the months before and after as small calendars at the top right, and a seven-column grid with roomy squares, about 1.4 x 0.95 in (36 x 24 mm) in a six-week month and larger in the others, for appointments, birthdays and plans. Days outside the month are filled with a pale washed-linen texture so the month stands out.
The federal holidays are printed by name on their dates: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. When one falls on a weekend, the weekday it is observed is marked too: in 2027 that puts Juneteenth on Friday, June 18, Independence Day on Monday, July 5, Christmas Day on Friday, December 24, and New Year’s Day 2028 on Friday, December 31.
Includes 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030 editions and an undated edition, and every one comes in a Sunday-start and a Monday-start version. The undated edition has write-in lines for the month and year, an unnumbered grid with a small box in each square for the date, a notes box where the small calendars would be, and a cover that lists how each holiday falls (third Monday in January, fourth Thursday in November and so on).
You get 20 print-ready PDFs of 13 landscape pages each, one for every year, week start and paper size: US Letter (11 x 8.5 in, 279 x 216 mm) and A4 (11.7 x 8.3 in, 297 x 210 mm). Files are named by year, week start and size, for example calendar-2027_2027_sun_letter.pdf. The font license is included. Set in Instrument Serif and Instrument Sans, in deep ink-navy with patina-blue frames, washed-linen texture and butter-yellow holiday dots.
How to print: open the PDF and print at 100% ("Actual size"), not "Fit to page", so the lines keep their spacing, with the printer set to landscape. Everything sits at least 0.4 in (10 mm) inside the edge, the large areas are pale tints, and the fullest page covers about 3% of the sheet with ink, so it is light on a home inkjet.
