Japan's old almanac divides the year into 72 micro-seasons of about five days each, named for what is happening outside: the east wind melts the ice, warblers begin to sing, frogs start singing, fireflies rise from the damp grass, swallows depart, bears go into their dens. This set gives every one of the 72 its own icon, in order from the start of spring in early February to the hens laying in late January.

Each icon is drawn on a 48 px grid with one 1.75 px stroke, round caps and joins, and comes in two styles: line, in currentColor so it takes the colour of your text, and filled, with soft seasonal colours (pinks and greens in spring, leaf greens and blues in summer, persimmon and maple in autumn, snow and indigo in winter) under the same outline.

What you get: 72 SVG icons in each style, a line-icon sprite, transparent PNG at 64, 256 and 1024 px, and a four-page almanac sheet in A4 and US Letter, one page per season, with each micro-season's English name, its Japanese name, its solar term and the date it usually begins. README.txt lists all 72 with their file names; labels on the sheet are set in Zen Maru Gothic, with Noto Sans JP for three rare kanji (licences included).

Use them in planners and journals that follow the seasons, nature and gardening notes, calendars, newsletters, websites and teaching materials about Japan.
