About this file
Tide Lines is a seascape made only of lines. Seventy-eight waves run from a still horizon toward you, closer together and finer in the distance, wider apart and heavier in the foreground, so the sea has real depth. A full moon hangs over the left third, and beneath it each wave breaks into short glints of moonlight that widen as they come closer. The waves never cross: each one swings by less than half the gap to its neighbours.
Colourways: Night, Dawn, Mist. Each colourway comes at two sizes, A3 (297 x 420 mm) and 16 x 20 in (406.4 x 508 mm), and each size is composed for its own proportions rather than cropped. For every colourway and size you get a vector SVG, a vector PDF set to the exact paper size, and a 300 dpi PNG (3508 x 4961 px at A3, 4800 x 6000 px at 16 x 20) - eighteen files in all.
Every line is a true vector path, never a traced bitmap, so it scales cleanly to any larger print. The PDF is the one to send to a print shop or print at home at 100% ("Actual size"); a matte or fine-art paper suits it best. Night is the classic moonlit version; Dawn swaps the moon for a low coral sun on pale paper; Mist is the near-monochrome one for calm, neutral rooms.
