About this file
Falling snow to lay over your winter and holiday footage: Christmas videos, cozy vlogs, seasonal ads, greeting videos and live streams. Every clip is a seamless 4-second loop, so it runs for as long as your shot without a visible jump.
Five complete snowfalls (gentle, steady, heavy, windblown and sparkling, with twinkling glints) mix three depths of snow: tiny distant flakes drifting slowly, crisp mid-distance flakes, and large soft flakes close to the lens that fall fastest. The three depth layers also come on their own, so you can put distant snow behind your subject and the near flakes in front.
Formats: each clip is a QuickTime MOV with alpha (lossless), a WebM (VP9) with alpha, and an MP4 of white snow on black for the Screen blend mode, which works in phone editors. Every clip comes at 1920 x 1080 (16:9) and 1080 x 1920 (9:16), 30 fps.
How to use: put the MOV or WebM on a track above your footage, or put the MP4 on top with its blend mode set to Screen. The README starts with a short guide to which zip suits a phone editor, a desktop editor or the web, and lists every clip.
