Manga screentone, the printed halftone dots of black-and-white comics, turned into transitions for video. 13 transitions cover the frame in dots, hold it solid black for a few frames so you can cut underneath, then clear to reveal the next shot. Three more clips only cover (an outro), only reveal (an intro) or pass a band of half-tone across as an accent.

Transitions: wipe right, wipe down, diagonal wipe, iris close, burst open, doors, diamond, clock wipe, dot dissolve, cloud dissolve, ripple, zoom tone and a 45-degree line-tone wipe. Every dot stays perfectly round while it grows, and neighbouring dots merge into solid ink, the way real screentone prints.

Also included: 29 seamless screentone textures as 4096 x 4096 PNG with transparency: dot tones from 10 to 70 percent in fine, medium and coarse screens, line tones, cross-hatching and two sand tones. They tile in both directions, for thumbnails, overlays, posters and comic pages.

Formats: each clip is a QuickTime MOV with alpha (lossless), a WebM (VP9) with alpha, an MP4 of white dots on black for the Screen blend mode and an MP4 of black dots on white for Multiply, at 1920 x 1080 and 1080 x 1920, 30 fps, 1 to 1.2 seconds. The README lists the solid frames of every transition, so you know exactly where to put the cut, and starts with a short guide to which zip suits a phone editor, a desktop editor or the web.
