About this file
Sixty stereo sounds for the moments that make an anime-style edit hit: the swoosh of speed lines, the rise of a focus burst that slams into a hit, the bright glint of an impact frame, the dramatic cut-in when a face fills the screen, and the stop that freezes the frame.
What is in it:
- Speed-line swooshes (16): short swishes, passes left and right, one-two and three-hit flurries, a dash, a blink, a blade swing, a whip, a spin, a rush towards the camera and one away, a gust
- Focus bursts (10): rises of 1, 2 and 3 seconds that burst into a hit, a fast zoom, a reveal with a ringing tail, a crackling power-up, a heartbeat tension build, a shower of bells into a flash, a dark rise into a gong and a reversed swell
- Hit flashes (14): punches light and heavy, a kick, a slash, a glinting impact, a critical hit, a shockwave, a ground slam, a metal clang, a lightning strike, a three-hit combo, a block and counter, a small hit and a body blow
- Cut-in stings (10): a blade drawn, minor and major brass-like stabs, big drum hits, an eye glint, a dark entrance, a rival's clash, a camera-flash white-out and an ink-splash impact frame
- Stops (10): a freeze-frame hit with a held glassy chord, wooden clappers, a stamp, a bell ding, a small gong, woodblock knocks, a glass crack, a heavy thud, a power-down and a freeze-frame shutter. No record scratch
Every sound is stereo and comes twice, as a WAV (48 kHz, 24-bit) and as an Ogg Vorbis file with the same name, in two zips that unpack side by side; 69 seconds of sound in all. Names start with their family (speed-, burst-, hit-, cutin-, stop-), and a README lists every file with its length and what it is.
Each file starts on its first sample, so a hit lands on the frame you place it on, and ends in true silence with peaks below -1 dBFS. The hits sit together at about -17 LUFS (maximum momentary) and the bursts at about -18. The low end of every impact is shaped to carry on a phone speaker, and everything folds to mono without cancelling.
Made to pair with manga-style overlays: speed lines, focus bursts and impact frames. Use them in anime-style shorts and reels, AMVs, fight and reaction edits, motion comics, trailers and action games.
