Plain envelopes that print on the inside, so the outside stays clean for an address and a stamp. C6, 114 × 162 mm (4.5 × 6.4 in), is one piece, for A6 cards or an A5 sheet folded once. DL, 110 × 220 mm (4.3 × 8.7 in), takes A4 or US Letter folded in three. A7-style, 5.25 × 7.25 in (133 × 184 mm), takes 5 × 7 in cards. Square, 5.25 in (133 mm), takes 5 in square cards.

A sheet of A4 or US Letter cannot hold those three larger envelopes in one piece with flaps that close, so each comes as a front piece, with its seal flap and three glue tabs, and a back panel that glues onto the tabs. Glue zones are marked on every piece, and the cut and fold lines are pale.

Page eight has two little pouches, 70 × 95 mm (2.8 × 3.7 in), for seeds, a gift card or photos. Pages nine to twelve are liners in eight wagara patterns, two per envelope: seigaiha and asanoha for C6, kikko and ichimatsu for DL, shippo and ume toss for A7-style, uroko and airmail stripes for square. The last page explains how to make each one.

The English and Japanese edition adds short Japanese labels beside the English: 切り取り線 and 折り線 on the key, のりしろ on the glue zones, 印刷面が内側 (printed side inside) and each envelope's name.

You get 4 PDFs, A4 and US Letter in each edition, 13 pages each, and the font licence. Set in Fraunces and Courier Prime, with Klee One for the Japanese.

How to print: open the PDF for your paper and print at 100 % ("Actual size"), not "Fit to page". Everything sits at least 11 mm inside the edge of the page, and no page uses more than about 2 % ink coverage. Plain printer paper works; 100–120 gsm (27–32 lb) makes a sturdier envelope.
