Work out who sits where, table by table. Every table is a card: on the left a small diagram of the table with its chairs numbered round it, and beside it a name line for every seat, each starting with the same numbered chair, so seat 6 on the diagram is always line 6. Every name line is at least 45 mm long, room for a full name, and each card ends with a Table line and a notes and dietary line.

Pages one and two hold twelve round tables of eight, six to a page, numbered 1 to 12 in faint type you can write over. Page three holds four round tables of ten (ten name lines need more room, so there are four to that page) and a room-notes box. Page four has a head table of twelve and two long tables of sixteen, eight chairs down each side, with each side's name lines running out from that side of the table.

It suits the couple, or whoever is helping them, working out the plan before it goes to the venue or onto a seating chart. Print as many copies as you have tables, and plan in pencil.

You get two print-ready PDFs, one for A4 (210 x 297 mm) and one for US Letter (8.5 x 11 in), and the font licence. Four pages per file. Set in Cinzel capitals and Lato, with fine line-art eucalyptus, olive sprigs and roses in sage, blush and a champagne tint, under an arched title.

How to print: open the PDF and print at 100% ("Actual size"), not "Fit to page", so the lines keep their spacing. Choose the A4 file for A4 paper and the Letter file for US Letter. Everything sits at least 12 mm inside the edge, the colours are pale tints and fine lines, and no page uses more than a few percent ink, so it is light on a home inkjet. Undated: print a fresh copy whenever you need one.
