About this file
Forty sweet, bouncy sound effects with a soft touch: round bubble pops, springy boings, bell sparkles and twinkles, toy squeaks and happy little tunes. Every note sits in the same major pentatonic scale, so any two sounds played together or one after another stay in tune with each other, and nothing is shrill: the bells are rounded and the top end is kept gentle.
What is in the pack:
- Bubble pops (5), boings (3), toy squeaks (2), a slide whistle and a sparkle pop
- Sparkles and twinkles (5) and magic shimmers (3)
- Heart pickups (3) and star collects (3)
- Xylophone-like blips (4), cute notifications (4) and page pops (2)
- Three short level-up jingles and a soft fail
Each sound is its own WAV file (48 kHz, 24-bit, mono), named for what it is, such as cute-heart-02.wav. Pops and blips last about 0.1 to 0.4 seconds, sparkles, chimes and shimmers up to about a second, and the level-up jingles about 1.3 seconds; 24 seconds of sound in all. A README lists every file with its length and a short description.
Every file starts on its first sample, fades out to true silence, peaks below -1 dBFS (true peak) and is levelled to sit with the rest of the pack. The smallest pops sit a little quieter, as they should.
Use them in cosy and casual games, kids' and learning apps, journaling and habit apps, and for lifestyle, craft and unboxing videos, reels and stories. They load into any game engine, app, audio editor or video editor that reads WAV.
