About this file
What it does: Pulls saturation down 45% with the hardest contrast curve in the pack and a restrained teal shadow tint; the skin mask keeps faces close to their original colour, which makes people pop out of a near-grey environment. Suits: Brutalist architecture, industrial sites, protest and street documentary, fashion shot against concrete, title sequences. How to load: it is a 33-point 3D .cube that expects Rec.709 (gamma 2.4) footage, so put it after any log-to-709 conversion. DaVinci Resolve: copy it into the LUT folder, refresh, and apply on a node (use Key Output gain to dial strength). Premiere Pro: Lumetri Color > Creative > Look > Browse. Final Cut Pro: Effects > Custom LUT. After Effects: Apply Color LUT. ffmpeg: -vf lut3d=file=<name>.cube.
